who we are

What We Do

We work with our clients to come up with a plan for re-homing their pets such as identifying permanent homes in their support system, in our network, or by providing their pets with foster care until we find their furever home. Our clients can be at peace knowing their beloved companions will not end up in a shelter. This service also helps to decrease the number of pets entering the shelter systems in the Atlanta area.

For people facing the end of life, we can provide pet care to ensure their beloved companions can stay with them for as long as possible.

our mission

Transitions Pet Care is a nonprofit in Atlanta. Our mission is to provide pet care and re-homing services for the pets of people facing the end of life. We provide pet care services such as dog walking and litter box maintenance to ensure people can keep their pets for as long as possible. We believe this brings extra comfort to the people we serve and helps to decrease the work for caregivers.
